General description of the collection: The Albert J. McAdoo papers contain two (2) booklets that cover the history of the 5th Regiment Combat Team (RCT) in Korea. The first book entitled "The 5th RCT in Korea, the first fifty days" and includes a brief lineage of the 5th Infantry Regiment. The second book is entitled "The 5th RCT in Korea with the 24th Infantry Division" and covers the period from 21 September 1950 through 10 January 1952.
